This will make your job a whole lot easier and save you time at the end of the tax year if you have kept it up-to-date during the year.

Remember that most cash register dockets fade quickly and can be unreadable when dropped off with your tax work. It is important to make a copy of the dockets, whether as a hard copy or a digital copy.
